This is a cartoon that illustrates the premise whereby one mustn't hate fat cat Republicans or Tea Partiers just because they're rich and/or innately callous and selfish.

Yes, I know, we're early for the usual Monday post! But the Huffpo decided to publish it early, so I had to go with it and publish it here, too. By the way, although he's never been mentioned by name here, I call this guy the "Rich Bastard."

Happy Birthday, Henry!
NB: If anyone's wondering, the so-called "God gene" is postulated by Dean Hamer.
This Oscarina has subsequently been published here, at the Huffington Post's comedy section.
mark twain (not)

I was relieved to learn that this quote, "Sing like there's no one listening, etc." is NOT Mark Twain, though it's often attributed to him. I think if Mark Twain were to say anything like it, he'd more likely have said it in the past tense, rather than in the imperative. As for myself, I'd prefer it if you sang like I was listening.

My apologies to anyone who has tried to use the RSS feeds links (in the sidebar) and met with no success. I have corrected the problem. Please let me know if you still have any problems by posting a comment to this post? Many thanks! And thank you for reading/liking "Oscarina..."!

if she met him

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to give Forrest Gump a cameo, but I imagine I'll be hearing from his people if I'm not. In which case, his head will be duly be switched to Oscarina's dad's, who actually vaguely resembles him anyway.
